Pediatrics Clinical Trials - conference

Clinical trials in pediatrics - conference

On 16th of April, 2019, we attended a very interesting conference organised by Polish GCP Society. It concerned clinical trials in pediatrics.

Except for interesting lectures provided by widely known specialists in this field, there was an opportunity to discuss and aknowledge with difficulties that accompany non-commercial clinical trials conducted with children.

The most interesting project which was presented was a net of clinical trials in pediatrics (POLPEDNET – Polish Paediatric Clinical Trials Network). The mission of POLPEDNET is to improve clinical trials conducted in different age groups of pediatrics population. It is supposed to act according to unified standard operating procedures and documentation. The activity if the net will also involve scientific consulting, collecting information about potential patients and trainings.
