Research Conducted at BRG Presented at the 26th Warsaw Days of Academic Cardiology

During the 26th Warsaw Days of Academic Cardiology (WDKA), held on March 5, 2026, the results of a Celon Pharma S.A. study conducted at the BioResearch Group center were presented. As part of a session held under the patronage of the Polish Pharmacological Society, Dr. hab. Piotr J. Rudzki delivered a presentation entitled: “Comparison of Pharmacokinetics, Coagulation Parameters, and Metabolomic Changes During a Bioequivalence Study of a Direct Factor Xa Inhibitor.”

The presentation covered the results of two bioequivalence studies, as well as the assessment of pharmacokinetic parameters and coagulation markers (including PT, INR, and aPTT). The findings confirmed the bioequivalence of the compared pharmaceutical formulations and demonstrated no significant differences in coagulation parameters, while also indicating the potential for further research into endogenous metabolites as biomarkers of drug activity. The project was co-financed by the Medical Research Agency.

The WDKA conference is one of the key scientific events in the field of cardiology, organized by the Medical University of Warsaw.
